Amy Louise Sebelius (Katherina)
Amy Louise Sebelius was born in New Jersey and raised in Southern California.
She has danced in Japan and Disneyland and graduated from Los Angeles Theatre
Academy in 1995. She was the first recipient of the LATA's now annual Rock Foundation
Scholarship Award. She has worked at A Noise Within and The Attic theatre in Hollywood,
where she received a Dramalogue Award for her work in American Holiday.
She produced her own play Uncle Neb and the Gak which she also wrote and
directed, at Galaxa Studios in Silverlake. She is currently a Theatre major at
CSU, Long Beach, where she has been kept busy performing in De Donde?, A Tale of Two Cities, Galileo, and Is there a Lawyer in the House? Amy was just honored with the Lana Alper Scholarship. Some of her favorite roles
include: Trisha in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, Lana/Mary Anne in Kentucky Cycle (understudy to Carrie Snodgress), Patsy in Little Murders,
and Margo in Desire (West Coast Premiere).

Charlie De Vera (Sly)
Charlie is making his Southern California debut. A native Los Angelino, he
spent the last three years traveling the United States with emphasis on the Big
Apple. He dedicates his performance to his family and friends.

Darla Kay Davis (Grumio)
had her first bout with the acting bug about eight years ago at Northlake
College in Irving Texas and has been a theatre junkie ever since. though acting
is her first and most precious love, she has worked in many other capacities,
in fact she just completed her coursework at CSULB for an MFA in Lighting Design.
it is with great pleasure, excitement, honor and fear that she makes her debut
with SBTS.

Graham Hill (Curtis)
Originally from Westchester County, N.Y., Graham has been performing as an
actor and musician in Los Angeles for the past 8 years. He most recently appeared
in Fiddler On The Roof, Tartuffe, and Rashomon. Also a musician
and vocalist, Graham has performed with various bands and orchestras in the LA
area and on several albums and CD's.

Heather Gonzalez (Bianca)
Heather Gonzalez recently graduated from CSULB in Theatre Arts Performance
and is extremely excited to read now that she has time. Heather looks forward
to her female role as Bianca in The Taming of the Shrew. You may not recognize
her from last years performance as Dromio of Ephesus, in Shakespeare by the Sea's
production of The Comedy of Errors. Some of her other memorable moments
are as Miranda in Shakespeare's The Tempest, The Maid in Ionesco's The
Bald Soprano, and The Inquisitor/Mathematician in Brecht's Galileo.
Heather is pleased to have consecutively assisted Lisa Coffi in producing Shakespeare
by the Sea. In her free time she loves to listen to Frank Sinatra, swing dance/Lindy
Hop, and practice her Camel Impression.

Ian Jensen (Page)
Ian will be in his senior year at CSU, Long Beach this fall. He appeared as
Doctor Manette in the University Player's production of A Tale of Two Cities.
Some of his favorite roles include: Ronald in The Nature and Purpose of the
Universe, Leandre in Scapin, and Lysander in a children's version of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Ian is very excited to be a part of Shakespeare
by the Sea and would like to thank his mom and dad for all of their love and encouragement.

Jonathan R. Townley (Lord/Pedant)
Jonathan has been with In Spite of it All Productions since its inception
in 1998. Last year, at Shakespeare by the Sea, he stared as Antiphilous of Siracusa
in The Comedy of Errors. Recently, he was called upon, again by director
Stephanie Courtney, to play the title role in Bertolt Brecht's Galileo.
Jonathan is a senior at CSU, Long Beach where he has performed in a wide variety
of productions including Is There a Lawyer in the House, A Tale of Two
Cities, The Tempest as Gonzalo, and in Stephen Sondheim's musical Assassins
as Samuel Byck. Jonathan is a classically trained Shakespearean actor, with a
great love of the arts, especially music. He hopes one day to be a member of the
Royal Shakespeare Company in London.

Joseph Foss (Tranio)
Joseph Foss is a Native of Vermont but spent his artistic training years on
a small Island in Maine doing dinner theatre. He is a graduate of the University
of Maine and did his post-graduate work at the Drama Studio in London, England.
He arrived on the West Coast in 1992 and made his West Coast premier at the Grove
Theatre as William Shakespeare in William of Stratford. Other roles include:
Lucius in Julius Caesar and Puck in A Midsummer Nights Dream with
Shakespeare Orange County. He was also seen last year as Egeon in The Comedy
of Errors with Shakespeare by the Sea. Joseph can also be seen jumping around
at Disneyland as Aladdin in Animazement and flying around as Peter Pan
in Fantasmic. Joseph would like to dedicate this performance to his wonderful
wife of little over a year who is also the director of this show.

Kristal Greenlea (Supporting)
Kristal just finished her second year at CSULB as a theatre major and recently
performed in the University Player's production of A Tale of Two Cities.
She has been a dancer since the age of three and is delighted to be exploring
the art of theatre further this summer with Shakespeare by the Sea.

Kyle Knauf (Hortensio)
Kyle arrived from New York a few months ago to acclimate and unwind. Well,
at least I've acclimated. NY credits include Secret History of the Lower East
Side (Off-Broadway), Benten Kozo, Mag Mor, Cleveland, Hippolytus, Marvin's Room, Dream of the Circus Lion, George
Bataille's Bathrobe and other unmentionables(Off-Off). And Regionally: Uncle Vanya, Pirates of Penzance and (Yes, I have done Shakespeare
before) Romeo and Juliet. He is Happy to be working with Shakespeare By
The Sea, a passionate group that is determined to continue bringing theater to
San Pedro. He also wants to thank Jeannine and especially Megan, without whom
Kyle would still have been in New York and a lot grumpier.

Lorin McCraley (Gremio)
Lorin McCraley is playing the old pantaloon Gremio with whom he can more than
identify. Like Gremio, Lorin is used to his "cake being dough on both sides".
In The Lion In Winter as Richard, his most previous work, he doesn't get
the girl, but instead winds up snuggling with the French King. On television he
hasn't fared much better. He's beaten up (America's Most Wanted), blown
up (Fire Co. 132), eaten alive by Zombies (Sliders), and is in constant
trouble with the law having been busted by "Mike Hammer" and the Feds
(Players). On the big screen he was last seen in a phenomenal stretch as
the cool dude in My Favorite Martian and can be seen in the upcoming True
Rights with a character much closer to his true self--a French sewer dweller
whose favorite cuisine is rat pate.

Michael Mihalow (Biondello)
Michael Mihalow is approaching his final year in CSU, Long Beach's Theatre
Arts program. A native of Wittier, CA, Mr. Mihalow fought his way through the
treacherous lands of East Los Angeles County. When not studying in Long Beach,
Mr. Mihalow works for various network television programs (Melrose Place, X-Files).
Mr. Mihalow's words to live by: It is better to be hated for what you are, than
to be loved for what you are not. Once Mr. Mihalow has completed his studies at
CSULB, he plans to pursue a career in film and television.

Larry Michael Woods (Baptista)
Was born in 1965 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He graduated with a Masters in
Theatre from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He's directed for over two
years in Nebraska, written theatre criticism for various newspapers, worked as
a radio disc jockey and worked as an actor on TV shows like Designing Women and Real Stories of the Highway Patrol. His favorite theatre roles include Fool for Love (Eddie), Arsenic and Old Lace (Mortimer), and The
Royal Family (Tony). His interests include writing, weight-lifting, running,
boxing, basketball, reading, philosophy, shooting pool and most of the arts.

Lisa
Coffi (Producer)
Founder of Shakespeare by the Sea, Lisa is pleased to
be presenting a third season of free theatre at Point Fermin Park. Originally
from Sacramento, she moved to Redondo Beach in 1996, and proceeded to earn an
MFA in Theatre Management from CSULB. Lisa is looking forward to another exciting
season and hopes to be producing the festival in the years to come.
