Will SimmonsWill Simmons (Theseus)
Will is thrilled to be making his first appearance with Shakespeare by the Sea. A graduate of the National Shakespeare Conservatory, Will has enjoyed roles in Titus Andronicus, Heartbreak House, The Rainmaker, as well as the films, Damn You Geoffrey, The Devil's Own and Fox TV. Will dedicates the season to his wife, Dove, who makes it all possible.

Roxanne CoyneRoxanne Coyne (Hippolyta)

Roxanne Coyne spent six years living in Brazil where she thoroughly researched her role as Hippolyta the Amazon Queen. She has appeared in several independent features and over two dozen commercials. This is her first Shakespeare play since high school.

Graham SibleyGraham Sibley (Lysander)
Graham has been performing on the stage and in film in Los Angeles for three years. A graduate of Chapman University in Theatre/Film, Grant has been seen on the stage in, Romeo and Juliet, Waiting for Lefty, and Medea, as well as in the films, Tin Cup, A Separate Path to Glory, Rox, and The Librarian.

Gus LantosGus Lantos (Demetrius)
Gus is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended CSU, Long Beach for two years and then relocated to Los Angeles, where he currently resides. Gus has performed in Grease, The Odd Couple, Little Shop of Horrors, and 1940's Radio Hour. This is his second time performing A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Liz ParaoanLiz Paraoan (Hermia)
After an eight-year break, this production marks Liz's return to the world of theatre. In addition to her recent film credits, Liz has just completed Dawgs at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, as well as an all-improv revue at The Second Stage. Look for her on Broadway!

Krista SchaferKrista Schafer (Helena)
Krista is thrilled to be playing this great part in this fantastic play, and says, "May more playwrights take Shakespeare's lead and write parts for tall women!" Krista has been acting professionally since graduating from Northwestern University, and also teaches drama and acting to kids. Thanks and love to Sean.

NY: Babe, Crimes of the Heart, Shirley, Fifth of July, and Laura, The Glass Menagerie at 29th St. Playhouse; AZ: Cherie, Bus Stop in Sedona; CA: leads in The Dresser, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (in San Diego) and Peg & Garrick at the Long Beach Playhouse. Training: British American Drama Academy, Shakespeare & Co., Old Globe Theatre.

Kevin ScottKevin Scott (Peter Quince)
Kevin began his career in Vail, CO, where he played the role of local weatherman for four, mostly sunny years. You may have seen him performing standup, playing guitar in Venice Beach, or serving you sea bass at one of the sixteen restaurants in which he's worked since moving to LA.

Anthony PowellAnthony Powell (Snug)
Anthony is new to Shakespeare by the Sea. He is a recent graduate of Chapman University, where he received his bachelor's of fine arts in theatre and dance. Some of Anthony's past credits include: Macbeth, Pippin, The Grapes of Wrath, and Medea.

Dan ColeDan Cole (Bottom)
Dan has been a working actor in LA and Orange County for the last ten years. He is a graduate of the Professional Actors Conservatory and The Royal National Theatre of Great Britain Studio Programme. Some of Dan's favorite roles include Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, Sheriff Will in Bus Stop, various characters in Henry V, and E.K. Hornbeck in Inherit the Wind. This is Dan's first summer with Shakespeare by the Sea.

Eldon ClineEldon Cline (Flute)
Eldon was most recently seen in the fall and spring school tour of Cootie Shots: Theatrical Inoculations Against Bigotry, for Fringe Benefits Theatre Company. In his free time, he teaches sign language to his deaf dog, Molly.

Heather GonzalezHeather Gonzalez (Snout)
Heather graduated from CSU, Long Beach with a degree in Theatre Arts and is currently pursuing a career in acting. She's been an integral part of SBTS's outreach program, Shakin' it up with Shakespeare. Recent performances include The Vagina Monologues where she was acknowledged in the Daily Variety. Other credits include: The Madness in My Mouth (an original play), The Bald Soprano, Galileo, Equus, and The Tempest. When Heather is not acting she enjoys writing, working on artistic projects and reading.

Brian GrosdidierBrian Grosdidier (Oberon)
Brian recently appeared in It Started With A Lie at the Hudson Theater. Other credits include: Borachio in Much Ado About Nothing, Tripp in Three Women Wearing The Same Dress, Angelo in Measure For Measure, Paul in Moon Over Buffalo, Alfred in My Three Angels, and Sir Lionel in Camelot.

Heather LakeHeather Lake (Titania)
Heather's recent credits include Advise & Consent, Swifty, and The Odd Couple. When she's not playing on the boards, she can be seen as Nurse James on NBC's soap Passions. "A big thanks to Peter, Jin, and Patty for just being there."

Nick LigonisNick Ligonis (Puck)
Nick Ligonis is originally from Tarpon Springs, Florida. He attended the University of Florida where he received a bachelor's degree in English and a minor in Secondary Education. While attending UF, Nick had starring roles in several student films and videos, which inspired him to pursue an acting career. Nick moved to California in August 1999, and has been featured in network television shows such as Jesse, Charmed, and the X-files. Nick's hobbies include playing the guitar, basketball, and being silly. Shakin' it up with Shakespeare was Nick's first foray into live theater since moving to Los Angeles.

Melissa SchmidtMelissa Schmidt (Peaseblossom)
A recent transplant from Boston, Melissa now enjoys her West Coast home in Redondo Beach. While living in New England, Melissa performed in Art of Dining, and Eat Your Heart Out, and did a number of independent films. She currently studies at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, and is very excited about participating in her first Shakespearean production.

Janine FosterJanine Foster (Mustardseed)
A Midsummer Night's Dream marks Janine's first experience doing Shakespeare, and she's excited to have been given this opportunity. A Theatre Arts Major at LMU, Janine performed in two main stage productions last semester. She is also an accomplished ballet dancer who has trained on scholarship on both the East Coast and in Europe, and has taught ballet for the past three years.

Art KrispinArt Krispin (Understudy)
Art is enjoying his first season with Shakespeare by the Sea as an understudy and sound technician on this, his favorite Shakespearean play. Art has been in the South Bay for four years working for a local aerospace firm, and he has recently completed a voiceover demo and is excited to venture further into the world of performance art.

Lisa CoffiLisa Coffi (Producer)
Founder of Shakespeare by the Sea, Lisa is pleased to be presenting a third season of free theatre at Point Fermin Park. Originally from Sacramento, she moved to Redondo Beach in 1996, and proceeded to earn an MFA in Theatre Management from CSULB. Lisa is looking forward to another exciting season and hopes to be producing the festival in the years to come.

Bethany and Jamieson PriceBethany Price (Director)
Bethany Price, co-director, serves as Marketing Director for CSULB's Carpenter Performing Arts Center and produces the film festivals and series which take place there. She is a graduate of CSULB's Theatre Arts Department, with a degree in acting and directing, and is the proud mother of two beautiful girls - Meghan and Cynthia.
Jamieson Price (Director)
Jamieson Price, co-director, is a theatrical Renaissance man, with expertise in acting, fight choreography, dialects and diction, stage management, technical theatre and dramaturgy. His bachelor's degree is from Virginia's William and Mary College and his MFA in acting from CSULB. He lives in Long Beach with Bethany and their girls, and when he's not working he's probably golfing. (To catch Jamieson in action, don't miss The Patriot, starring Mel Gibson. Jamieson plays Captain Bordon, one of the despicable British officers in this revolutionary war epic.)

Corey B. HolstCorey B. Holst (Scenic Design)
Corey is a resident designer and stage technician for the University Players and Cal Rep at CSU, Long Beach, as well as a creator on Fantasmic! at Disneyland. He has designed numerous productions over the last decade, including sets for Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Dracula, Moon Over Buffalo, and The Boys of Summer. Corey is also a performer, and has been seen in the Music Man, 1776, Bye Bye Birdie, and Damn Yankees. Currently, Corey is singing '50's "doo-wop" with Biff & the Backups, but his greatest joy is his 18-month old daughter, Madison Elizabeth.

Caryn MedeirosCaryn Medeiros (Costume Design)
Caryn recently graduated from CSU Long Beach with an emphasis in costume design. Currently, she is a costumer/buyer for the entertainment division of Disneyland. Caryn has designed for many CSULB productions, including: Galileo; Four Sisters; 3 in the Back, 2 in the Head; and O. Henry's Christmas. In addition, Caryn is a trained hair and make-up designer.

Kelly KingKelly King (Stage Mgr)
Kelly is pleased to be working with the Shakespeare by the Sea company and cast. She has been stage managing for the past ten years. Her most recent productions include: Kind Lady at the Long Beach Playhouse, Look Back in Anger at the Vanguard Theatre in Fullerton, and Hair at the Candlefish Theatre in Hollywood. Besides managing and acting, Kelly lent her talents as property mistress for the film Tricks.

Nolan DuranNolan Duran (#1 Volunteer)
This is Nolan's second year with Shakespeare by the Sea. Currently on summer break from Dana Middle School, this 14 year old crews the show at all the Point Fermin performances as well on tour. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, he relocated to San Pedro last year to surf, skate, and crew for Shakespeare by the Sea.
