Aaron Mark Henry: (Prince Edward) Aaron Mark Henry is 15 years old and has been acting professionally for 10 years. He can be seen in feature films such as "A Civil Action" and TV shows including "The Man Show," "Jesse," and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Most recently, Aaron has appeared on the LA theatre scene in the original play "Before I Wake" (The Group at Strasberg) and in "Mythical Dreams" at the Celtic Arts Center (part of EdgeFest LA), which he also co-wrote. Aaron enjoys drawing, reading, watching stand-up comedy and spending time at home in Alta Loma. He is an honors student at Los Osos High School.

Andy Kallok: (Duke; Stanley) Andy is a veteran of two seasons with Shakespeare by the Sea acting in "Macbeth," "Much Ado About Nothing," "Romeo and Juliet," and "Twelfth Night." He has also been seen this year in "Lucky Spot" and "Pick of the Vine" at our Little Fish Theater. He has acted in numerous theater productions throughout Southern California including "Spider's Web" and "An Act of the Imagination" for Palos Verdes Players; "The Matchmaker," "Forty Carats," "Ten Little Indians" and "Arsenic and Old Lace" for the Kentwood Players; and "Murder in Green Meadows" for Actors Repertory Theater. His film work includes roles in the award-winning independent productions "The Bible and Gun Club," "Good Housekeeping," and "The Hook-Armed Man."

Andy Simpson: (Pathino; Eglamour: Tyrrel) Andy recently graduated from Stanford University with two degrees, and is now acting, writing, and playing in Los Angeles. Some favorite past experiences, in no particular order, are: "True West," "Marat/Sade," "The Tempest," "Macbeth," "Judevine," "Dangerous Liaisons," "In the Shadow of the Glen," and many small films whose names would sadly mean little to most people.

Ben Brannon: (Proteus; Hastings) Ben Brannon is happy to be a part of his first show out on the West Coast. He was most recently seen doing professional Shakespeare up and down the East Coast from North Carolina to Florida, in roles such as Edmund in "King Lear," Laertes in "Hamlet," and Grumio in "Taming of the Shrew."

Chris Graue: (Dorsett) Chris Graue is fresh off the high school circuit and doing his first play with Shakespeare by the Sea. He has recently played Mozart in "Amadeus," Eugene in "Brighton Beach Memoirs," Doody in "Grease," Joe in "Damn Yankees," and Demetrius in "A Midsummer Night's Dream." An avid fan of the Bard, Chris has performed in five Shakespearian productions in the last year. He will be dropping off the scene after this show, however, as he will begin attending Pepperdine University in the fall.

David Park: (Richard III) A native of Dallas, Texas, David is thrilled to be performing in this year's Shakespeare by the Sea production of "Richard III." David studied theatre at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York where he graduated in 2002. His most recent theatre credits include, Rodolpho in "A View from the Bridge" at Theatre Palisades and Young Scrooge in "A Christmas Carol" at Glendale Centre Theatre. Some of David's favorite past roles include: Algernon in "The Importance of Being Earnest," Iago in "Othello," Ali Hakim in "Oklahoma," and C.C. Showers in "The Diviners."

Diane McGee: (Duchess of York) Diane McGee's relationship with The Bard began at the age of 12; at 18, she was the youngest lead in the nationally-touring New Shakespeare Company, and at 26, recipient of the Gielgud Award. Past roles include Lady Macbeth, Titania, Regan, Portia, Olivia. Bay Area Playwrights Festival: five seasons writing with and directed by such luminaries as Robert Woodruff and Joseph Chaikin. Off-Broadway: "Tango," "Shrivings," "School for Scandal," a host of original plays, and a year as identical twins on "As the World Turns." Los Angeles: Mark Taper New Works Festival, Amelia Earhart in "Freezing Antarctica," "81/2" for Milton Katselas, "That Thing You Do," "Prison Girls," "Secretary," "Days of Our Lives." Next up: "The Cherry Orchard" for Culver City Public Theater.

Larry Ruffo: (Archbishop) Larry Ruffo is very proud to be in this production. He was in "The Rose Tattoo" recently at the Long Beach Playhouse where he also played Rudy in "Bent" some years ago. He has done numerous plays and musicals. Some of his credits include "A Midsummer Night's Dream" with the L.A. Shakespeare Company, the musical "Svengali" at the Alley Theater where he was a member of the Sharp Intern Acting Company for two years. One of his most celebrated roles was as Arnold at Stages Theater in Houston. He has a BFA in theater arts from Southwestern University and is currently seeking representation.

Matt Rimmer: (Speed; Buckingham) This is Matthew Rimmer's first experience with Shakespeare by the Sea. He came here via Little Fish's presentation of "Peg and Garrick." His acting career started with the Georgia Renaissance Festival, which involved 12 weeks of outdoor theater. Since moving to Los Angeles he has booked a few national commercials, been on TV, and recently had leading roles in several films, including "Duel," a short film that he wrote and starred in. His past credits include Benedick in "Much Ado About Nothing," McMurphy in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," and Robin Hood in "The Adventures of Robin Hood."

Mitchell Moore: (Thurio; Lord Vaughn) Mitchell has been a professional actor since 1997. He worked in marketing in New York for such shows as Beauty and the Beast, Aida, Jesus Christ Superstar, Jekyll and Hyde, and Chicago. After leaving New York he went on tour, performing in Italy, Germany, Austria, Canada and 45 states at home. He has recently arrived in L.A. after a stint at New Stage Theatre in his home town of Jackson, MS where he appeared in Ride a Blue Horse, A Christmas Carol and Marvin's Room among others. He is absolutely delighted to be a part of Shakespeare by the Sea. In what seems like another life he was a pastry chef, and has even raised horses on the farm on which he grew up.

Nathan Cambridge: (Launce; Catesby) Nathan Cambridge is originally from Bloomington, Indiana. He graduated from Macalester College, as did Kofi Anan and the guy who played M.A.N.T.I.S. Nathan also graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Nathan's Shakespeare experience, which started in a landlocked park at age twelve in the role of Puck, has ranged from a stage in England playing Caliban in "The Tempest," to the role of Romeo in "Romeo & Juliet: The Last Battle Field." Nathan is also an abstract thinker and artist.

Patrick Dorn: (Young Duke of York) 12-year old Patrick began acting when he was seven. He discovered his love for performing while taking a class at his local community theatre. He has been able to perform in over a dozen theatrical productions since then. Those include "The Music Man," "Pinocchio," "Sheba," and "A Christmas Carol." He was the youngest official cast member ever to work at The Disneyland Resort, appearing in "Steps in Time" in the Hyperion Theatre in Disney California Adventure park at age nine. Television appearances include an upcoming episode of "Oliver Beene" on the Fox network, and a recent two-year run as Thomas Forrester on the CBS Daytime Drama "The Bold & The Beautiful."

Peter Pallet: (Son of Clarence) Peter has been in many plays such as "Alladin," "Fools," "Pure as the Driven Snow," "Cinderella," "Tide Pool Condos," and now "Richard III." He was born in London, England, brought-up in a small village called Tattingstone located near Ipswich, and now lives here in America. His numerous past roles include a dragon, a witch, tuna, a "flirter," and a guard.

Rachel Levy: (Ursula; Antonia; Outlaw 3; Lady Anne) Rachel originally hails from Seattle and is excited return to SBTS. Rachel was most recently seen in "Tres Grim" and "The Edge of Allegiance" at the MET Theatre. She has a BA in Drama from the University of Washington and has also studied theatre in England. Other recent productions include the 2003 SBTS Season, "The Lady's Not for Burning" as Margaret, a featured reader in Grace & Competra's "Speaking of Stories" in Santa Barbara, and the beglittered Good Fairy in "The Holiday Panto" at the Lobero Theatre for two years. Scott Rose: (Valentine;Rivers) Scott is excited to be making his first appearance with Shakespeare by the Sea. After studying theatre at the University of Southern California, he went on to do theatre professionally in both Los Angeles and New York. Scott has been acting since he was 13 and has been seen in over 25 productions. Some of his leading roles include: "The Children's Hour," Atheists in a "Foxhole," "Red Noses," "Taming of the Shrew," "The Homecoming," "Doc of Cannery Row," "Ten Little Indians," "An American Clock," and "Bullshot Crummond." He made his film debut with a leading role in the Irish film "Dreamers Dreaming."

Shayla Hudson: (Richmond) Shayla Hudson is a quadruple threat with her talents being acting, singing, dancing, and writing. While attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts Shayla was fortunate to put her education to its use on the Black Entertainment Television Network show "Teen Summit." After The American Academy, Shayla went to UCLA where she attained her BFA. College is where Shayla found her passion for dancing. She has had the privilege of dancing for Missy Elliot and Debbie Allen. Being a singer and writer as well, she is currently working on her self-titled album.

Luis Patino: (Ratcliffe) This is Luis' first summer with Shakespeare by the Sea. He is a recent graduate of the University of Evansville, where he received a B.F.A. in Theatre Performance. Past productions include "The Kentucky Cycle," "Julius Caesar," "The Grapes of Wrath," and "The Caucasian Chalk Circle." Film credits include "Intimacy" and "A Quiet Read." Most recently you could have seen Luis in "The Dining Room" at The Tamarind Theatre in Hollywood.

Drew Fitzsimmons: (Lord Grey) Finishing a run as Lysander in "A Midsummer Night's Dream," Drew is overjoyed to keep up the Shakespearean trend with this talented cast and superb director and crew. Some of Drew's favorite roles have been Sonny/Studio Cop, Mahoney, Buddy's Nephew and fight choreographer in the musical "City of Angels," Thompson and the voices of Pendleton, Williams, the Reporter, Roger, O'Brien and Police Dispatch in "Dial 'M' for Murder," Simon Bliss in "Hay Fever," a variety of different roles including the foppish Haberdasher in the musical "Kiss Me Kate," Corp. Hodgson in "Rain," Joe the Cabby in "Matchmaker," Buzz Taylor and Pete in "Father of the Bride," and assistant directing "Barefoot in the Park."

William Gamble: (King Edward) William is making his debut with SBTS. He's played leading roles at the Ashland Shakespeare Festival, and San Diego's Old Globe where he played Marc Antony in "Julius Caesar," Dromio in "Comedy of Errors," Rosencrantz in "Hamlet," and Sylvius in "As You Like It." He has appeared at the Ahmanson Theatre in "Cyrano de Bergerac," starring Richard Chamberlain, and played Malcolm in "MacBeth," starring Charlton Heston and Vanessa Redgrave. At the Knightsbridge Theatre he won a Dramalogue award for his performance in "Death Takes A Holiday." Other roles include the Captain in "Mr. Roberts," Drew in "Eastern Standard," and most recently Harry Binion in "Room Service." Feature film appearances include "Foul Play," "R.P.M.," "Outrage," and numerous guest spots on daytime and primetime television shows.

Tilly Branco - (Lord Mayor) Tilly Branco began his acting studies at The Drama Studio in Springfield, MA. During his four years there, he immersed himself in the fundamentals of Improv, Scene Study, Linklater Voice Work, and Shakespearen acting. He then spent a summer at Shakespeare & Co. in Lennox, MA. After moving to Los Angeles, he studied the Meisner Technique at The William Aldersen Studio. Mr. Branco was also a co-founder of the Nomad Players Theater, which mounted several original productions before disbanding. Tilly has been described as a "Portuguese Paul Newman" and a "Post-ironic James Dean." He has had two magazine articles published nationally and continues to write while pursuing his acting career.

Brooke Wood: (Silvia) Brooke Wood is originally from Birmingham, Alabama and happily moved to Los Angeles in the late 90's. TV credits include commercials, "Boomtown," "What Should You Do," and "Days of Our Lives." Film credits include many small independent titles that no one will recognize, and theatre credits too numerous to mention. Some favorite stage roles include Maggie in "Dancing at Lughnasa," Elvira in "Blithe Spirit," and Georgeanne in "Five Women Wearing the Same Dress."

Kelly Smith: (Julia) Kelly is thrilled to finally be returning to the stage in her SBTS debut. A native of Tallahassee, Florida and graduate of Florida State University, Kelly grew up in theatre and made the move to Los Angeles a little over two years ago. While here, she has had both co-starring and guest starring roles on television, including "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "The Practice," "Strong Medicine," as well as a recurring role on "Boston Public." Her most recent stage credits include, Isabella in Shakespeare's "Measure for Measure," Alexandra in "The Little Foxes," and Lizzie in "The Rainmaker."

Sondra Mayer: (Lucetta; Stage Combat for "Richard III") Sondra is a native of Chicago and has a degree in theatre from Columbia College, Chicago. In Los Angeles, she has performed with The Met Theatre Company, Sacred Fools Theatre Company and Ark Theatre Company. In addition to acting, she keeps her writing alive at Sacred Fools in past Late-Night Sketch Comedy shows. In addition, Sondra has been doing stage combat for eight years now and enjoys every opportunity she gets to perform it.

Pooka: (Crab) "Two Gentlemen of Verona" marks Pooka's acting debut. Pooka is a Corgi/Chow mix, or "Chorgi." He could formerly be seen at the Highland Park Pound and was the inspiration for "All Dogs go to Heaven." He has understudied great roles in movies such as "Rin-tin-tin," "Lassie, Come Home!" and "Beethoven I - III." Contrary to popular belief, nothing "happened" to his legs.

Lisa Coffi: (Producing Artistic Director) Lisa is the founding member of Shakespeare by the Sea. She holds an MFA in Theatre Management from CSU, Long Beach and BFA in Two-Dimensional Art CSU, Sacramento. Over the last seven years, she has created and administered Shakespeare by the Sea, several youth programs and has also launched Little Fish Theatre Co. which presents a cadre of new and contemporary work in an intimate indoor setting in downtown San Pedro. Lisa is constantly challenging herself with projects and works as a freelance graphic designer throughout the South Bay.

Michelle Nakamura: (Festival Producer) A native of the South Bay, Michelle started in the theater in high school co-producing and directing an original musical, "On the Road to Broadway." After graduating from UCLA with a BA in Psychology, Michelle worked as an intern for Brian Grazer and production assistant for Hal Ashby before taking a "short" trip to Japan. After gaining 7 years of international experience and a Master's Degree in Social Psychology in Japan, Michelle has returned to the South Bay and to the exciting world of theater that she loves. To pay her rent, Michelle does freelance Marketing and Design work and is a Certified Massage Therapist.

Sara Neff: (Assistant Festival Producer) Sara's theater production credits include "Night at the HearSay Café" and "The Vagina Monologues." In addition, she recently produced her first short film, "The Washcloth." Her Shakespeare background includes a stint with the Shakespearian Improv group Scenic Root and a Best Acting and Elocution Award for her performance of Viola in "Twelfth Night" at the Folger Shakespeare Festival in Washington, DC. Her LA acting credits include a Series Regular role on the TV pilot "Clowns" and improvising with The Institution for its show, "DVDevious."

Douglas Clayton: (Director, Two Gentlemen of Verona) Douglas Clayton has directed plays all over California and in Scotland at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Most recently he directed two pieces for the Little Fish Theatre's "Pick of the Vine: An Evening of One-Acts" in February. He received two bachelor's degrees (in Business and Theatre) from the University of Southern California, and did his graduate studies at Florida State University's Asolo Conservatory.

Allison Smith: (Stage Manager, Two Gents) Allison is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California, where she was dubbed an "everything." She enjoys participating in all aspects of theatre including lighting, sound, makeup, acting, and stage management. Some of her work includes playing the Duchess of Berwick in Oscar Wilde's "Lady Windermere's Fan," lighting the MFA playwrights' new works in USC 's "Under Construction: MFA Workshops," and doing makeup for "An Urban Nutcracker: Winter Dance Concert." She is thrilled to be working with Shakespeare by the Sea.

Dan Jenkins: (Scenic Designer) After working his way through college at Central Washington as an insomniac, he earned a BA in Theatre Design and moved to LA. He finds himself right at home here in the Theatre Community. His design work includes: "Pick of the Vine - an original one-act series" at the Little Fish Theatre, "One Flea Spare" and "Yogi A-Go Go" at the Santa Monica Playhouse, and "The Lotus Maiden" at The Met. His lighting designs have been seen for "Flight" and "Sev She" at the Ivy Substation. He's currently working on production design for a feature film called "Postcard from L.A." and a short called "Dirty Laundry."

Valerie Wright: (Costume Designer) Valerie is an experienced costume and couture designer. She has a bachelor's degree in fashion design from the Otis Art Institute of Parson's School of Design. She has created gowns for the Academy and Emmy Awards and has costumed actors and signers such as Christy Clark, Amy Smart, and Cree Summer. Valerie has also designed numerous costumes for the Los Angeles Children's Ballet Theater and the Bread and Jam Theater group. Valerie's main forte is period costuming, but she also loves designing fantasy and ethereal styles as well. She enjoys incorporating mixed media into her creations, such as metalwork and plastics, in addition to using influences from her travels through Brasil, Europe and Japan.

Ronda Brooks: (Costume Assistant) Ronda received her MFA in Costume Design from CSU, Long Beach, This is her fourth season with Shakespeare by the Sea. She's worked on "The Tempest," "As You Like It," "Macbeth," "Much Ado About Nothing," "Twelfth Night," and "Romeo & Juliet." Ronda has designed costumes for "Factory Girls," "Puccini Project," "Godspell," "Grapes of Wrath," "Quack" and "Jacques Brel." She has designed costumes for "Little Shop of Horrors" at ARK in Long Beach, and "Lucia Mad" for the 24th Street Theater in Los Angeles.

Ron Wyand: (Sound Designer) Ron's sound designs can be heard throughout Southern California. Some of his favorite designs include: Lee Miller, The Angel and the Fiend for the J. Paul Getty Museum; the Ovation winning production of The Women at the Hudson Avenue Theater; The Price for A Noise Within; and The Rose Tattoo at Long Beach Playhouse Ron has received numerous design awards including a Backstage West Garland Award for The Interact Theater's production of The Cherry Orchard. He is the resident Sound Designer at the Long Beach Playhouse, a member of the Production Staff at A Noise Within and is an Audio Engineer at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center's James Armstrong Theater.
