THE ACTING COMPANY

Olev Aleksander
Olev Aleksander(Albany)
Olev is stoked to be back onstage with SBTS.  Last year he made his debut with SBTS as Sebastian in Twelfth Night and Metellus Cimber in Julius Caesar.  In the past year, he performed in two collections of one-acts at Little Fish Theatre: Twisted, Spooky, Creepy and Pick of the Vine.  Other LA region stage credits include The Laramie Project, The Lion in Winter, Noises Off, and The Glass Menagerie.  Olev has acted in several short films, including Fatherland, which was screened at film festivals across the United States, and Maruta, which just wrapped.  He can be seen as Dr. Timothy Greenwood in the webseries Asylum, an official selection at the 2011 Marseille Web Fest and an audience choice finalist at the New Media Film Festival 2011, among others.  Asylum was recently picked up by BET.

Chris Aron
Chris Aron(Friar/Sexton | Cornwall)
Chris is returning to Shakespeare by the Sea for the third season, and is excited to be performing in both productions.  Chris first came to SBTS in 2001 performing Ferdinand in The Tempest, and returned last year as Decius Brutus in Julius Caesar. Chris earned his BA in Theatre at USC and worked two seasons at the Western Stage in Salinas, where he played Al Joad in The Grapes of Wrath and both Cal and Charles Trask in the epic, 12 hour marathon performance of John Steinbeck’s East of Eden. Chris is a 6th grade teacher in Redondo and is proud to be directing an 8th grade production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream with his wife for the 6th consecutive year.

David Jay Barry
John Cox(Benedick)
A graduate of The American Conservatory Theatre with an MFA in acting, David’s L.A. acting credits include Bash (LA Weekly Theatre Award Nominee) and Mr. Marmalade at 3KO Broadway Theatre Company, Richard III at the Secret Rose, Othello at the Stella Adler Theatre. Additional acting credits include lead roles in the independent feature films Stan, Surviving Paradise, Mike’s Kids and Scattering Mother, and theater productions of Love’s Labours Lost, Romeo & Juliet, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Cyrano de Bergerac, and many others. He has taught acting, voice, and Shakespeare at A.C.T., The Stella Adler Academy, and The American Musical & Dramatic Academy in Hollywood and directed such critically acclaimed productions as Uncle Vanya, Freedomland, A Lie of the Mind and Curse of the Starving Class.

Cylan Brown
Cylan Brown(Verges | Edmund)
Cy is amped to be returning to SBTS after playing Julius Caesar last summer.  He recently preformed the role of Serge in Art at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse.  Other Hermosa performances include the roles of Grumio (Taming of the Shrew), Victor Flemming (Moonlight and Magnolias), Demetrius (Midsummer’s Night Dream), and Harry Pepper (Barefoot in the Park). Previous Shakespearean roles include Poins (Henry IV), Petruchio (Taming of the Shrew), Mercutio (Romeo & Juliet), Roderigo (Othello), and Sylvius (As You Like It). He has studied and worked with Antaeus and is currently touring Ventura county schools with the Kingsmen Shakespeare Co.  Cy has also played Johnnypateenmike (Cripple of Inishmaan), Coleman Conner (Lonesome West) and the reverend Jim Casey (The Grapes of Wrath) while attaining a BS in theater at Northern Arizona University.

Katherine Curci-Prenovost
Katherine Curci-Prenovost(Understudy Regan)
Katherine is very excited to be making her SBTS debut.  Most recently she played Baptista in The Taming of the Shrew (CLOSBC).  Other recent projects include Hannah in The Busy World is Hushed, Isabella in Edward II, Dolly; Countess Vronsky in Anna Karenina, Mistress Ford in Merry Wives of Windsor, and Margaret in Richard III.  Favorite roles include Eleanor in The Lion in Winter, Abby in LaBute’s The Mercy Seat, Lou Ann Hightower in Messiah on the Frigidaire – East coast premiere; original cast/Sam French pub., and yes, the Wicked Witch of the West in Wizard of Oz. Other classical roles include Olivia in Twelfth Night, Lady Capulet in Romeo &  Juliet, and Lady Cerimon in Pericles. She has performed throughout the West and Southeast as an actress, dancer, and choreographer.

Dawn Doherty
Dawn Doherty(Antonia)
Dawn is thrilled to be making her debut with Shakespeare by the Sea.  She has performed throughout Orange County, but this is her first LA appearance.  Although she is typically a musical theatre performer, past Shakespeare roles include Duchess of York in Richard III and Leonata in Much Ado About Nothing.  Dawn taught middle school drama in Mission Viejo for ten years directing such shows as A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Twelfth Night.

David Graham
David Graham(Lear)
David is a native of Atlanta who has come to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of being poor and hungry. In the actor’s tradition, he has drifted from here to there and had many jobs -- including BMW salesman and gravedigger. You may have seen David in Shakespeare by the Sea’s original production of Much Ado About Nothing in 2002 or in the Long Beach Playhouse’s The Nerd. He directed Romeo & Juliet for SBTS in 2003, The Merchant of Venice in 2007, Antony & Cleopatra and A Midsummer Night’s Dream in 2008, and As You Like It in 2009. Last season he appeared as Cassius in Julius Caesar and Malvolio in Twelfth Night. At Little Fish Theatre, he has appeared in Underneath the Lintel, Deathtrap, The Lion in Winter and most recently Stones in His Pockets. David is also an English teacher at Le Lycée Français in West LA.

Mark Haberland
Mark Haberland(Burgundy / Ensemble)
Mark received his BA in Theater from Connecticut College in 2010. He has studied acting at the William Esper Studio in Manhattan, the Saint Petersburg State Theater Arts Academy in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O’Neil Theater Center. After all that studying, Mark is thrilled to be starting his professional acting career with Shakespeare by the Sea. Mark moved to LA from his home in Maine in October 2009 and has since become a student at the Howard Fine Acting Studio, an avid hiker, a member of the LA Zoo, and completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training program.

Andrew David James
Andrew David James(Kent)
A native of Lexington, KY, Andrew holds a B.A. in Composition and Literature from Pepperdine University.  He has recently been seen as Fred in A Christmas Carol at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.  In Southern California, he garnered rave reviews as George Milton in Of Mice and Men; he’s also been seen as Cassio in Othello, Tybalt in Romeo & Juliet, and twice as Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing.  Other professional credits include Dr. Frederick Treves in The Elephant Man, Buddy in The Diviners, Benny Southstreet in Guys and Dolls, Action in West Side Story, and Pvt. George Shannon in the critically-acclaimed world premier of Bea[u]tiful in the Extreme at the Colony Theatre in Burbank.  Internationally, Andrew appeared as Cole in So, Mr. Brecht, What Did You Think of America?

Andy Kallok
Andy Kallok(Leonato | King of France / Ensemble)
This year Andy revisits the role of Leonato which he performed in his first SBTS production in 2002. He has acted in every SBTS production since then playing kings, dukes, princes, priests, doctors and fools.  Andy has also acted in several Pick of the Vine one-act programs at Little Fish Theatre, including hanging from a cross in The Crucifixion of Moe and Ira and riding the Staten Island Ferry  in Buried at Sea.  Other Little Fish productions include  Betrayal, Inside My Father’s Apple Tree and The Lucky Spot.  He has acted at various local theaters and  is featured in several independent film and cable access TV projects.

Royen Kent
Royen Kent(Old Man / Ensemble)
Royen is a recent graduate of Vanguard University, located in Costa Mesa, finishing with a BA in Theatre. This is his professional acting debut, and he is honored to be working with such an amazing company. He performed in 10 mainstage productions at VU, including Twelfth Night (Feste), Bye Bye Birdie (Albert Peterson), and Romeo & Juliet (Romeo). His work in high school includes Little Shop of Horrors and Tom Jones, and he worked with Legacy Productions as Antony in Enchanted April. He additionally has a fierce love for improv comedy. In September he plans to move to Chicago to start his career.

Holly Long
Holly Long(Hero | Nurse / Ensemble)
Holly is so excited to be a part of Shakespeare by the Sea for her first time!  Recent shows include Cabrillo 2010 Holiday Spectacular with Shirley Jones, Oklahoma at Moonlight Stage Productions, Backwards in High Heels at Fullerton Civic Light Opera, and she played Lori Beth in Happy Days the Musical, at Cabrillo Music Theatre. When she is not performing she is behind the scenes as an electrician. Holly is extremely grateful to all those who encourage and support her through all of her endeavors.

Stephen Lydic
Stephen Lydic(Don Pedro | Oswald)
Stephen is appearing in his first season of Shakespeare by the Sea and it’s his first appearance in a classical play in quite awhile. Before moving to the South Bay, Stephen acted professionally in Chicago for seven years working with several theatre companies, including Trap Door, Red Tape, and Quest Theater Ensemble.  Originally from Austin,TX, Stephen graduated in 2003 with a BFA in Performance from the University of Memphis. For two years he toured with American Eagle Theater in the day while playing a variety of roles in Tony n Tina’s Wedding at night in Piper’s Alley.  Most recently he appeared onstage at the Long Beach Playhouse as Paul Singer in Moon Over Buffalo. Some of his favorite roles over time include Jim Nightshade in Something Wicked This Way Comes, Sheriff Toady in Alas!Alack! Zorro’s Back! and Don Baker in Butterflies are Free

Jase Mack
Jase Mack(Curan)
Jase is pleased to be participating in his first season with Shakespeare by the Sea. He is a California native and currently resides in the Lakewood area. Some of his favorite roles include the Third Witch in Cal State Dominguez’s Production of Macbeth; Mr. Lamb in Pinter’s The Interview at Long Beach City College; and originating the role of Dante in Patti’s Place at the Stella Adler Theater. Jase has also stage managed and been prop master for several productions at Little Fish Theatre. He received his initial training at Long Beach City College and is currently deciding where to continue with his education.

Kimberly Patterson
Kimberly Patterson(Beatrice | Regan)
Kimberly holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from East Carolina University and an MFA from UCLA. Since moving to Los Angeles from New Orleans, she has been lucky enough to work with several theatre companies: CCPT, Los Angeles Theatre Ensemble, The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, the Hermosa Beach Playhouse, and Little Fish Theatre, to name a few. Some of her roles include Zerbinetta in Scapin; Cammie in The Distance from Here; M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias; Ruth in Blithe Spirit; the lead role in Sylvia; Myra in Hay Fever; Susy in Wait Until Dark; and Ethel in Barefoot in the Park. This is Kimberly’s first year as a Shakespeare by the Sea company member.

Katie Pelensky
Katie Pelensky(Cordelia)
This is Katie’s third season with SBTS, having played Olivia in Twelfth Night, Maria in Love’s Labours Lost and LeBeau in As You Like It. Born and raised in New Jersey, Katie moved to California to earn her BA in theatre arts at Santa Clara University, and has since spent time in Santa Clara, Oakland, and currently West LA. Favorite roles include Celia (As You Like It), Anna Jedlikova in Pentecost, Beverly  in The Shadowbox, Maggie in Lend Me a Tenor, Valerie in The Weir, and Ida in See How They Run.  Since moving to LA, Katie has had the privilege of working with Shakespeare by the Sea, Glendale Centre Theatre, Wicked Lit (Nom de Guerre Theatre), and Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre.

Rudy Pivaral
Rudy Pivaral(Borachio | Understudy Captain)
Rudy is a recent high school graduate, and is tremendously excited about his debut with Shakespeare by the Sea. He has studied Classical and Greek theatre with the Antaeus Company where he was seen in roles such as Hamlet and Orestes. In High School he undertook many roles including Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Lloyd in Noises Off!.  He currently resides in El Segundo and is dedicated to become the best he can be at his craft.

Jerrod is a recent graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where he earned a BFA in Drama (Meisner Studio, Classical Studio). He is thrilled to be making his LA debut with SBTS.  NYC credits: Oberon/Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Yusef El-Fayoumy in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Anthony Dull in Love’s Labours Lost, and Burgundy in The Tragedy of King Lear.  Regional theatre credits: Bobby in A Chorus Line, Richard III in The Tragedy of King Richard III.  Film/TV: Seeds (Hanost Productions), Two Minutes (NYU Student Productions) and I Miss You (NYU Student Productions).  Jerrod holds a BA in Philosophy, also from NYU.

Shea Scott
Shea Scott(Margaret / First Watchman)
Shea is proud to be making her SBTS debut. Shea’s roots in classical theater were cultivated at Howard University. She fell in love with Shakespeare while training at the British American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After playing the role of Viola in Twelfth Night at the Muckenthaler, Shea was last seen performing at the Complex Theater as Harriet Tubman.  She has also appeared throughout LA in a powerful play co-written by the actress herself titled, Silent Struggle, Silent Scream. Shea received her Masters in Theater from UCLA where she blew audiences away with her solo thesis performance, Stripped. Shea enjoys giving back to the community as the current Minister of Drama at the First Baptist Church of Venice, and is the current President of Cattle on a Hill Enterprises and a member of Diva Inc., a society for women in the arts.

Drew Shirley
Drew Shirley(Dogberry | Edgar)
Drew is excited to make his debut with SBTS.  He received his Masters in Acting from the University of Illinois.  He has recently appeared in Chicago in Les Liasons Dangerouses with the Remy Bumppo Theater Company, and at the Utah Shakespeare Festival as Christian in Cyrano de Bergerac and Oliver in As You Like It.  Last winter he directed Hamlet at the Mackenzie Theater, and just finished directing The Tempest which premiered in Hollywood in May.  Recently he finished filming Red Shirt, a film he wrote and directed in the mountains of Riverside.  He recently appeared with The Kingsmen Shakespeare Company, playing Bottom in A Midsummer Nights’ Dream,  performing for schools in the Thousand Oaks area. Other favorite roles include Andrei in Three Sisters, Bo Decker in Bus Stop, Hal in Proof, Adam in The Shape of Things, Davis in Red Light Winter, and Horatio in Hamlet.

Kaitlyn Smith
Kaitlyn Smith(Ursula / Second Watchman | Ensemble)
Kaitlyn graduated from the Orange County High School of the Arts in 2008, and is currently a second-year Drama major at UC Irvine. She has performed in over 15 staged productions, most recently in The Importance of Being Earnest and The Threepenny Opera in the Claire Trevor Theatre at UCI. Other theater credits include A Christmas Carol, Crow and Weasel, The Orphan Train, and The Snow Teen at South Coast Repertory. She also performed in the OCHSA productions of Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar, Dearly Departed, King Lear, and Rumors. This is her first experience as a part of Shakespeare by the Sea.

Colin Sprague
Colin Sprague(Fool)
Originally from Seattle, Colin moved to Southern California to study theatre at Chapman University where he is now a senior.  He has performed in numerous Shakespeare productions both at Chapman and around Orange County.  At Chapman he has performed in Psycho Beach Party and The Tragedy of Macbeth.  At Shakespeare Orange County he has performed in The Two Gentlemen of Verona and King Lear.  This is his first season with SBTS.

Michael Stancliff
Michael Stancliff(Conrade | Captain / Ensemble)
Michael is thrilled to be a part of his first productions with SBTS. Catching the acting bug at a very young age, Michael fell in love with being on stage after playing Dandy Dan in the Negri Learning Center’s production of Bugsy Malone. Since then, Michael has participated in many other shows, including The Music Man (Harold Hill), Oliver! (Charlie Bates) at the Redondo Beach Civic Light Opera, and Seussical, the Musical (lead Wickersham) at Cypress College. Michael has appeared in several commercials, the pilot for Pizza and Karaoke, and co-starred in episodes of Wizards of Waverly Place and Little Monk.

Jennings Turner
Jennings Turner(Don John)
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Turner received his BFA in acting from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.  Previous productions include Hamlet (Player King Productions), Titus Andronicus (Theatre of Note), and As White as O (The Road Theatre).  This is his first experience with Shakespeare by the Sea.

Patrick Vest
Patrick Vest(Gloucester)
Patrick is delighted to be back with Shakespeare by the Sea. Last year he played Marc Antony in Julius Caesar and Orsino in Twelfth Night.  In previous seasons he played Shylock, Macbeth, Mercutio, and Malvolio in these beautiful parks. Other Shakespeare roles include Prince Hal, Petruchio, Launce, Oberon, Cloten, and Pericles.  Patrick recently spent two years at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival where, in addition to doing plays, he earned his MFA in acting. His all time favorite role, however, is daddy to his daughter Olivia.

Lisa Coffi
Lisa Coffi(Founder & Producing Artistic Director)
Lisa is the founder and creator of Shakespeare by the Sea and is happy to be celebrating her 14th Season. She holds an MFA in Theatre Management from CSU, Long Beach and a BFA in Art from CSU, Sacramento. Lauded as “Pedro’s Playmaker” in 2003 by Random Lengths, Lisa is living up to her moniker. She has been involved in theatre for the last 20 years, 14 of which have been spent in San Pedro cultivating Shakespeare by the Sea into a mid-sized arts organization. In addition to SBTS’s free festival, she manages and produces at Little Fish Theatre which is currently celebrating its 10th Anniversary. Lisa splits her time between San Pedro and Newcastle (Sacramento) where she resides with her husband, 2 dogs, 3 cats and 2 cows.

Sara Adelman
Sara Adelman(Festival Producer)
Sara is happy to be in her third season with SBTS. As a freelance arts management consultant and co-founder of Vibrant Production Management (VPM), Sara assists small and mid-size arts organizations in their theatrical, business and logistical management. Before VPM, she was the Director of Operations for LA Stage Alliance where she managed the company’s operations and staff. Sara collaborated for six years with Shakespeare Festival/LA, where she was the Managing Director, with direct oversight of SF/LA’s operations, productions, development and facilities. Her experience includes work with Watts Village Theater Company, ForYourArt, Overtone Industries, Impro Theatre Company, Dance Camera West, Geffen Playhouse, Actor’s Gang, Manhattan Theatre Club and the Williamstown Theatre Festival. She holds an MFA in Production Management & Technology from UCLA and a BA in Theatre Studies from the University of Connecticut.

Amy Louise Sebelius
Amy Louise Sebelius(Director, Much Ado About Nothing)
Amy Louise was last seen on the Shakespeare by the Sea stage as Kate in The Taming of the Shrew back in 1999. Acting roles include: Inez in No Exit (Rude Guerilla), Eleanor in King John (Southern California Shakespeare Festival), Julie in Miss Julie (Players Theatre), Lula in the Dutchman, herself in White Trash Catholic Circus (her one-woman show) the resident villain, Ian Sidious, in the Holiday Melodrama (The Garage Theatre), Soothsayer in Julius Caesar and Miss Grange in Sheppey (Alabama Shakespeare Festival). As a director, credits include The Dumbwaiter and Richard III (The Garage), Medea and Laramie Project (OCHSA), Love’s Labour’s Lost and Twelfth Night (SBTS) The Jungle Book, Star Wars, and Batman!. Amy Louise teaches acting, theatre history, Shakespeare, and improvisation at the Orange County High School of the Arts, Santiago Canyon College, and South Coast Repertory. She is a graduate of the LA Theatre Academy, CSU Long Beach and the University of Alabama.

Stephanie A. Coltrin
Stephanie Coltrin(Director, The Tragedy of King Lear)
Stephanie is an Ovation Award winning Artistic Director and Ovation nominated director for CLOSBC’s production of Miss Saigon, which won Best Musical of the Year in 2009. She has served as the Artistic Director for both the Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities and Hermosa Beach Playhouse for the past few years. Known for her versatility as a director, credits include Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Blithe Spirit, Steel Magnolias, Come Back to the Five & Dime…, Quilters, and Godspell, among others. After completing her studies in Theatre Arts and Directing at Brigham Young University, she moved to Los Angeles, where she has had the pleasure of creating theatre from every capacity-- as a producer, production manager, stage manager, and designer--for various theatres all over town, including the Odyssey, Tiffany, Hudson, Blank, and Tamarind Theatres, LATC, Los Angeles Women’s Shakespeare, Reprise, McCoy Rigby, and many others. She is thrilled to be directing her second show with Shakespeare by the Sea.

Kara Hodges
Kara Hodges(Stage Manager, Much Ado About Nothing)
Kara started off as a child actor with Academy of Kids Management and then enrolled in a Summer Program at UC Berkeley called Education Unlimited, where they studied Theatre in all depths. She continued on to CSU, Long Beach where she completed a BA in Theatre Arts and was part of a group called The Kaleidoscope Players, a children’s traveling Theatre Company. The last years at CSULB were spent juggling two shows in school as an assistant stage manager along with stage managing a show in a small venue called The Garage Theatre.  Since graduating, she has continued to work with other local theatres and is looking forward to her first year working with SBTS.  She is excited to be a part of something so magical.

Caroline Benzon
Caroline Benzon(Stage Manager, The Tragedy of King Lear)
A graduate of the UCLA School of Music, Caroline is a keyboardist, musical theatre composer and singer-songwriter. Some composition credits include Emerald City, Towyard Dreams, Westchester Playhouse’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shakespeare by the Sea’s Twelfth Night and Othello as well as her first CD, Just Three Words. She was Musical Director and Accompanist for Little Fish Theatre’s Pick of the Vine 2010 musical: A Charmed Life. Caroline composed and orchestrated the musical score for Shakespeare by the Sea’s 2010 Julius Caesar, and most recently stage managed the critically acclaimed Stones in His Pockets at Little Fish Theatre.

Aaron Jackson
Aaron Jackson(Scenic Designer)
Aaron’s New York credits include: Box for The Genesius Theatre Guild, The Sex & Love Monologues for the Riant Theatre and A Leopard Complains of Its Spots for Amphibian Productions. Regional Credits: I Love a Piano and Almost Maine for The Phoenix Theatre (Phoenix, AZ), Miss Nelson Is Missing at Childsplay (Phoenix, AZ), and The Boys Next Door for The Texas Star Theatre (Granbury, TX). Other credits include designs for The Jubilee Theatre (Ft. Worth, TX), Theatre OUTlanta (Atlanta, GA), Little Fish Theatre (San Pedro, CA), and The WB Television Network. In addition, Aaron works as an Illustrator and Concept Artist with a client list that includes Stiletto Entertainment, Cartoon Network, IMAG Productions, and Mercedes-Benz among others. He has also worked as a Scenic Artist for film, television and theatres across the country. Aaron spent the last five years as the Staff Scenic Artist for UC Irvine painting for over 40 productions.  He resigned his post this Spring to accept a position as one of the newest Design Producers for ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition which will feature many of his designs starting this fall.  This is Aaron’s seventh season with SBTS.

Valerie Wright-Blair
Valerie Wright-Blair(Costume Designer)
This is Valerie’s 8th season with Shakespeare by the Sea. She has a BFA in fashion design from the Otis Art Institute.  She just finished designing costumes for The Boyfriend at the Lee Strassberg Theater and has done many shows for various Los Angeles theaters. In addition to her numerous theater credits, Valerie has designed an array of gowns for private clients and celebrities for the Academy and Emmy Awards. Her garments have also been featured in people magazine, National Bridal Apparel News and on CNN.  Her film credits include several costumes in Big Money Rustlas for Insane Clown Posse, and Welcome Back Satan, an independent comedy film.

Claire Townsend
Claire Townsend(Assistant Costume Designer)
Claire is excited to work on Shakespeare by the Sea after having worked at Little Fish Theatre, where her work was last seen in The Dixie Swim Club. She graduated from Central St Martins, London in 2008. Credits include Romeo & Juliet for Cypress College,  La Forza Del Destino for West Bay Opera, Bullshot Crummond for PCPA Theatrefest, Julius Ceasar for Marin Shakespeare Festival, As You Like It and Fuente Ovejuna for Mira Costa College. She has costume assisted Hansel and Gretel, Porgy and Bess, Tannhauser, and Don Carlo at Los Angeles Opera, and Pagliacci, La Traviata, and Le Nozzi di Figaro at Opera Pacific, and The Black Rider at the Ahmanson.

Steve Garbade
Steve Garbade(Composer, Much Ado About Nothing)
Steve graduated from Berklee College of Music studying Composition/Film Scoring while playing cello for the Berklee College of Music String Quartet. After moving to Los Angeles, Steve worked in sound post production for television and film and composed for music libraries. He can be seen around Los Angeles performing his original contemporary pieces and has been heard on local TV and radio. He has written original scores for productions at Pacific Resident Theatre, Atwater Playhouse, Long Beach Playhouse as well as the original scores for the films, Late Night Guest and Slipping. Steve will be scoring the upcoming film, The Immortal Edward Lumley. This is his second year working with Shakespeare by the Sea.

William "Bill" Ginder
Bill Ginder(Sound Technician)
This is Bill's fourth season as part of the engineering team for Shakespeare by the Sea. He has worked as a sound engineer for live music performances and live recordings of local musicians, The Taste of San Pedro, Music by the Sea, the Norris Theater, and the Warner Grand. He also builds and repairs audio equipment, tube theremin and tube amps. Bill has also worked as a jazz and blues drummer and has an AS from El Camino.

Katie Price
Katie Price(Executive Assistant / Box Office Ninja / Webmaster)
Katie studied Medieval and Renaissance literature a long, long time ago at UCLA.  Her life took many wildly unexpected turns, some of which caused her to acquire the software skills needed for web design and one of which brought her to a street festival in San Pedro in 1999 -- where she met the inimitable Lisa Coffi.  She’s been doing the website for Shakespeare by the Sea,and then Little Fish Theatre ever since.  She also loves helping with the box office at Little Fish Theatre because it reminds her of working as an usher and ticket taker at the Shubert Theatre in Los Angeles, the best job she ever had.
