Shakespeare by the Sea is now accepting submissions for their 11th Anniversary Season

Both shows will play in repertory through August 09, 2008. There is pay.
Performances run Thu, Fri & Sat at Point Fermin Park in San Pedro for 5 weeks, then 4 weeks of touring to various locales throughout LA & Orange Counties before returning to Point Fermin for our Grand Finale! See online calendar for complete production schedule.

Auditions: April 14, 15 & 16 from 7-11 pm
Call backs: April 19 & 20 from 1-5 pm
The first cast meeting is April 27 at 1 pm
Rehearsals run April 29-June 11, Mon.-Thurs. 7-11pm and Sundays 12noon to 6pm at Little Fish Theatre in San Pedro. (corner of 8th & Centre St)

Submissions must be received by April 10, 2008. This is an open audition but due to the overwhelming response each year, you will be scheduled a time to audition. You may also come during the open audition time slots but you will be seen around those with scheduled times.

Shakespeare by the Sea is a unique experience for those who get involved. Our performance venues are charming, the atmosphere we create is truly magical and our audiences are enthusiastic.

TEAMWORK IS MANDATORY
Shakespeare by the Sea is a hands-on production. Actors are also crew members. They set-up and break-down the set each night. It is a synchronized and streamlined process where each person is assigned a few tasks.
REHEARSAL TIMELINE & LOCATION
Rehearsals run for 5 weeks beginning in May, Monday - Thursday 7-11pm and Sunday 10-7 at Little Fish Theatre in San Pedro.
San Pedro is located at the southern end of the 110 freeway. Take the commute, if any, into consideration. [See map for location.]
PRODUCTION TIMELINE & TOUR
Our productions run for 9 weeks -- 5 in San Pedro and 4 on tour. San Pedro performances are every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm with a 7:30 pre-show. The call is 6pm. The tour is TBA (check the calendar page for the latest information) and the call times and locations will vary.
