The Marine Mammal Care Center at Fort MacArthur, San Pedro welcomes SBTS again this season.

Marine Mammal Care Center at Fort MacArthur (MMCC) is located in San Pedro, CA. The MMCC’s primary work is to rehabilitate, and release back into their natural environment, sick and injured seals and sea lions that strand along the Los Angeles County Coastline.
MMCC is the only year round rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles County, designated to treat marine mammals. This work is authorized by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS)
The Care Center is involved in the education of students, school teachers and the general public in conjunction with the Center for Marine Studies. They also actively collaborate with other agencies, universities and museums to learn and aid the treatment of the patients in their care.

Take the 110 Fwy south until it ends.
Turn left, heading south on Gaffey St.
Turn right at 3nds St (Barlow Saxton Rd) and the entrance to John Olguin High School
Follow the road up the hill, then back down to Leavenworth, and make a right at the Military Museum.
Turn right after the Angel’s Gate High School portable units – park where space is available.
